Done in a studio about a year ago on TMAX 100 120mm film.

Scanned the negative in - seemed like some of the tones disappeared even though I did a 48 bit scan.

Anyways - As always comments and critiques are appreciated and a full view is appreciated too.

Despite the loss of some tonal elements this photo's detail is striking - I love the way you've captured both the simplicity of the black & white medium and the complexity of your subject.
It makes me want to know him, and understand what he's thinking. I'm always a fan of a guy in a dark suit :)

The shadows on the nose give it a rather big expression. Even if the tones haven't worked out in the scan, I somehow like them. And it's a very sensitive portrait. Like it!
